OL 104. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) (O) This course will enable the student to gain insight into Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and accessibility practices. The student will have a comprehensive introduction to UDL, covering key concepts, principles, and strategies for applying UDL in various educational and training contexts. The student will explore the three principles of UDL (multiple means of representation, expression, and engagement) and how those principles can be used to enhance learning and engagement. The student will learn to design and deliver UDL instruction, using technology, multimedia, and interactive tools to support learners of all abilities. The student will learn collaboration by working with teachers, faculty, administrators, and support staff to create inclusive, accessible, and supportive learning environments.
Prerequisite(s): OL 103 with a C or better.
