OL 103. EdTech Tools to Enhance Online Learning (O)

This course will enable the student to learn the definition, purpose, and use of each EdTech tool to improve online learning experiences The student will learn best practices for using EdTech tools in online learning, and how to implement these tools in the student’s own online learning environments. The student will use a wide range of EdTech tools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual classroom tools, interactive video tools, screen sharing and recording tools, collaborative tools, gamification tools, quiz and assessment tools, communication and feedback tools, presentation tools, mind mapping and concept mapping tools, adaptive learning tools, Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, and Adobe in Education. The student will use these various EdTech tools to enhance online learning and implement these tools effectively in teaching practices.

Prerequisite(s): OL 102 with a C or better.
