OL 102. Fundamentals of Instructional Design (ID) (O) This course will enable the student to describe the models of instructional design and develop effective instructional materials for a variety of settings and formats. The student will cover a range of topics, including learning theories, assessment and evaluation, instructional goals and objectives, content analysis and organization, instructional strategies and methods, media and technology, learner characteristics, engagement and interactivity, collaboration and community building, accessibility and inclu0l1 siveness, online instruction, and emerging trends.
Prerequisite(s): OL 100 or OL 101 with a C or better.
