OL 100. Introduction to Online Teaching (O)

This course will enable the student to explore practical strategies for building student engagement, facilitating online discussions, incorporating technology into lessons, and differentiating instruction for diverse learners. The student will cover a wide range of topics including preparation for online teaching, online teaching basics, to the design of online course content, engagement of online students, assessment and evaluation, manage time and resources, and professional development. The student will apply interactive techniques to practical exercises and activities. The student will gain teaching skills and strategies needed to be an effective online teacher.
