Program Information

Butler and Pittsburg State University have teamed up to provide students the opportunity to earn a four-year Workforce Development degree. The Bachelor of Science in Workforce Development is an online bachelor’s degree completion program designed for busy working adults seeking flexible and convenient way to finish their degree. Prospective majors have completed the two-year Butler associate of applied science degree and are interested in pursuing a career in management (leadership and supervision). The Bachelor of Science in Workforce Development is an ideal program for those who are work bound and cannot attend on-campus classes at a college or university.

Butler Community College is committed to flexible pathways for our student’s success. Courses are offered in varying delivery formats; face-to-face, blended and online.

General Education Degree Requirements: 26 Credit Hours


Minimum Butler Credits: Fifteen semester hours of credit must be taken with Butler in order to graduate. Any exceptions must be approved by the Vice President of Academics. The general education courses listed below are preferred, but previously completed courses in the same general education area may also meet the requirement. See advisor for details.
