Program Information
Through theoretical and hands-on instruction, Butler’s pre-computer science degree prepares students to transition into a four-year college or university computer science degree program.
Courses available range from basic math and algebra to calculus, differential equations and statistics. Butler has agreements with several private and state universities for course transfer. Butler also offers AAS degree options in Cyber Security, Software Development, Web Development, Engineering Technology, and an AS option in Pre-Engineering. **Students interested in civil, electrical, industrial and mechanical options of pre-engineering need Engineering Graphics I. Students should also seek advisement from their transferring college/ university of choice.
