Web Development (Certificate)


Program Information

This program will prepare you for a career in the Web Development/Design field. Utilizing front end and back end development using the latest in mark up and coding languages like HTML with CSS, Javascript, PHP with databases and many more, the student will create websites and web applications as well as mobile apps to prepare you for success in the industry!

Certiport Certification

Through your coursework you may qualify to take industry certification exams. Butler community colleges IN Department is a certified Certiport Testing Center for Microsoft and Adobe certifications and administer those tests on campus to students enrolled in or completers of certain IN classes. Please see your lead instructor for details.

First Term: 18 Credit Hours


Co-requisite Requirement: IN171-Photoshop Fundamental is a required course for IN172-Animate Fundamentals. Students working towards the certificate pathway for Web Development will need an override from an advisor to take both IN171 and IN172 within the same semester. This co-requisite exception will only be used for students seeking a Web Development certificate.
