Design and Production (AGS)


Program Information

This program will prepare you to use image editing and creation software, 3D based production software, various printers, and production machines (both manual and automatic), concepts of item production both in theory and practical use, use of 3D printers, and various industry methods to produce a variety of print production-based pieces. Students create projects designed to supply the individuals in the public and in the college with items like sublimation printed clothing, flags and ETC., vinyl iron on and silkscreened items of the same type, and ink printed needs such as pens, notepads and ETC. They will put into practical use what they have learned in their 2 years at Butler and provide a service that will prepare them to both work in the industry and continue to similar higher education possibilities.

CertiPort Certification

Through your coursework you may qualify to take industry certification exams. Butler Community Colleges IN Department is a certified Certiport Testing Center for Microsoft and Adobe certifications and administer those tests on campus to students enrolled in or completers of certain IN classes. Please see your lead instructor for details.
