Interactive, Digital, and 3D Technology (Certificate B)


Program Information

This certificate program can be converted to the Interactive, Digital, and 3D Technology, Associate in Applied Science degree by adding the appropriate general education courses which will add to your employability and future income. Cooperative Education opportunities will also add to your income potential.

Certiport Certification

Through your coursework you may qualify to take industry certification exams. Butler community Colleges IN Department is a certified Certiport Testing Center for Microsoft and Adobe certifications and administer those tests on campus to students enrolled in or completers of certain IN classes. Please see your lead instructor for details.

Important Co-Requisite Information


  • Co-requisite Requirement: ID101 is a required course for ID116 3D Animation 1. Students working towards the certificate for Interactive 3D will need an override from an advisor to take both ID101 and ID116 within the same semester. This co-requisite exception will only be used for students seeking and Interactive 3D certificate.
  • Co-requisite Requirement: ID101-Photoshop Fundamentals or ID110-Game, Storyline, and Character Development are required courses for ID118-Game Design 1. Students working towards the certificate for Interactive 3D will need an override from an advisor to take both ID101 or ID110 and ID118 within the same semester. This co-requisite exception will only be used for students seeking and ID3D certificate.
  • Co-requisite Requirement: ID218-Game Design is a required course for ID222-Virtualand Augmented Reality and ID299-Interactive, Digital, and 3D Capstone. Students working towards the certificate for Interactive 3D will need overrides from an advisor to take ID218 and ID222 and ID299 within the same semester. This co-requisite exception will only be used for students seeking and ID3D certificate.
