BI 240. Anatomy and Physiology (T►) This course will enable the student to explore the principles in structure and function of the human body systems. The student will study basic chemistry, cells, tissues, and these body systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and reproductive from macroscopic and microscopic viewpoints. This course is an intermediate study designed primarily for pre-professional students in health-related fields. The department highly recommends AH 201 with a C or better. BI 240 is an equivalent course to both BI 226 and BI 227 (when taken together).
