FL 202. Spanish Readings This course will enable the student to read for a general understanding of plot, main ideas, and themes in Spanish. The student will learn literary terminology, investigate presented cultural/historical themes, and participate in target-language discussion before and after reading. This course is an introduction for intermediate-level college or heritage-language speakers to literature of the Hispanic world, and is designed for the student who will pursue university Spanish literature courses.
Prerequisite(s): FL 201 with a C or better or six traditional academic semesters of Spanish in secondary school, or instructor approval.
