CH 110. College Chemistry 1 (T►) This course will enable the student to examine the fundamental principles and concepts of chemistry, including atomic theory, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, energy, phases of matter, and solutions. The student will perform experiments of a qualitative and/or quantitative nature that incorporate these topics. This course consists of three hours of lecture/recitation and four hours of laboratory per week.
Prerequisite(s): High school chemistry or CH 106 or equivalent and two units of high school algebra or MA 125 (or MA 127 , MA 128 , or MA 129 ) with a C or better.
