FW 226. Principles of Strength and Conditioning Credits: 3 Prerequisite(s): BI 226 and BI 227 with a C or better, or BI 240 with a C or better.
This course will enable the student to learn the physiological responses of the body to strength training and the means of designing safe and effective exercise conditioning programs in preparation for a career as a strength and conditioning professional capable of working in a variety of roles and environments. The student will prepare to sit for the CPT exam administered by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
