AH 137. Phlebotomy Clinical Practicum

This course will enable the student to engage in practical experiences at an approved healthcare facility for specimen collection. The student will meet the required quota of specimen collections and demonstrate performance to meet national certification agency guidelines. The student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of this course and must have a high school diploma or GED or be within 6 months of completing one of these items to be eligible to take a national phlebotomy certification exam.

Prerequisite(s): AH 136. Principles of Phlebotomy with a C or better.
