MC 290. Issues in New Media

This course will enable the student to examine the history and current trends associated with traditional and emerging mass communications media. The student will identify social, psychological, cultural, and technological factors affecting the current mass communications industry, and apply these factors to predict future opportunities.

Prerequisite(s): MC 161 with a C or better.
