FL 201. Intermediate Spanish (O, T►)

This course will enable the student to demonstrate cultural and communicative competence at the intermediate-low level in Spanish in the presentational (writing and speaking), interpersonal (writing and speaking), and interpretative (listening and reading) modes of communication. The student will develop a critical awareness of differences and similarities between the home culture(s) and the target language culture(s).

Prerequisite(s): FL 107 and FL 108 with a C or better or six traditional academic semesters of Spanish in secondary school.
