eSports and Digital Events Management (AGS) Update: 9/20/22

Program Information

This program will prepare you to use concepts of digital video and photography, livestreaming and podcasting equipment and software, gameplay concepts and tactics, UX/UI design principles, organization concepts and rollout of digital based events including eSports events, educational events, company events, etc. Students, working as a team and individual, will create, host, deploy, and digital based events, livestreams, podcasts, live based/stream supported events, with potential applications in education, eSports, corporate events, television/radio based content, and other industry with the need for live and digitally driven events.

CertiPort Certification

Through your coursework you may qualify to take industry certification exams. Butler community Colleges Interactive Design (ID) Department is a certified Certiport Testing Center for Microsoft and Adobe certifications and administer those tests on campus to students enrolled in or completers of certain ID classes. Testing is provided as a free service to current students of the ID Department. These tests include certifications in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and others. Please see your Department Chair for full details.
