Food Science Technology (AS)

Program Information

The program is designed for students planning to seek to transfer to a four-year college. Food science technology students will learn how chemistry, nutrition, biology and other sciences improve the safety and quality of foods, how new food products and flavors are developed, and how safer and more energy efficient food processes are designed.
