Pre-Veterinary (AS)

Program Information

The pre-veterinary Associate in Science program is intended for students planning to transfer to a four-year institution and pursue becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. This degree program is designed to ensure that the students can meet admission requirements and are on track to complete a bachelor’s degree.

Butler Community College is committed to flexible pathways for our student’s success. Courses are offered in varying delivery formats; face-to-face, blended and online. This program gives you the skills necessary to transfer to 4-year program options in one of the following: Animal Science pre-vet, Biology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology.
