Painting, Ceramics, Drawing, Design, and Art History. Butler offers you a wide spectrum of visual arts to spark your creativity. Butler’s highly respected art professors will provide solid instruction in the foundations of drawing, two-dimensional and three-dimensional design, anchored with a strong background in art history. Students interested in art scholarships should contact the art department. The art department’s facilities include studios and lecture rooms with audio/visual equipment. The Erman B. White Gallery of Art hosts an annual student exhibit and rotating exhibits by regionally and nationally recognized artists.

Recommendations
Prospective teachers should take BS 160 , General Psychology and ED 206 , Introduction to Teaching. A math course above MA135 College Algebra may be required at some transfer institutions.
