IS 207. Introduction to Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

This course will enable the student to collect, process, analyze, and visualize security event data using a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system. The student will learn to navigate SIEM platforms, create effective queries, generate reports, design dashboards, and set up alerts for real-time security monitoring. The student will cover key concepts such as data correlation, log management, search optimization, and statistical analysis to enhance cybersecurity operations.
