CD 225. Interaction Techniques with Young Children (O)


This course will enable the student to demonstrate effective and creative guidance techniques while creating a positive early childhood learning environment. The student will understand the role of observation in early childhood programs and will be able to determine the appropriate techniques to assess and monitor the development of various ages. The student will be able to establish positive social expectations for a group of children and effectively evaluate and manage difficult behaviors based on children’s individual needs and developmental abilities in cooperation with the children’s families and relevant professionals. This course will enable the student to apply effective and creative guidance techniques while creating a positive early childhood learning environment.
