BI 240. Anatomy and Physiology (T►) BI 240 is an equivalent course to both BI 226 and BI 227 (when taken together). The department highly recommends CH106 or BI 110, and AH201 all with a C or better.
This course will enable the student to explore the principles in the structure and function of the human body systems. The student will study basic chemistry, cells, tissues, and the following body systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and reproductive from macroscopic and microscopic viewpoints. This course is an intermediate study designed primarily for pre-professional students in health-related fields.
