BI 226. Anatomy and Physiology 1 (O, T►)
This course must be taken in addition to BI 227 to be equivalent to BI 240. The department highly recommends CH106 or BI 110, and AH201 all with a C or better.
This course will enable the student to explore the principles in the structure and function of the human body systems. The student will study basic chemistry, cells, tissues, and the following body systems: skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine from macroscopic and microscopic viewpoints. This is one semester of a two-semester course. This course is an intermediate study designed primarily for pre- professional students in health-related fields.
